“MotiVote, a non-partisan coalition, works to facilitate voting and encourage informed and active participation of citizens in government. MotiVote does not endorse or provide support to any candidate running for office.”

MotiVote is a Three-Tiered Effort:

Voter Registration
The coalition and other organizations will be attending community meetings, festivals, fairs, faith-based services and more to register people to vote;

Education
The coalition will also be educating voters on their voting rights and the major issues in the upcoming campaigns. We will be holding issue briefings, and candidate forums so that voters can see candidates for office (to be included in a forum at least two candidates for the same office must be present);

GOTV - “Get Out the Vote”
The coalition will work to bring out the vote through public service announcements, education at voter registration, neighborhood outreach and more. To coordinate all the efforts and provide a central clearing house for information, the MotiVote effort will provide a central calendar of events hosted by the MWUL with contact information for each organization. The project is non-partisan and does not include the specific policy agenda of any of the participant organizations.
